THANK YOU!! :o) The code for phone 2 worked, but the code for phone 1 did not. Would it make a difference that the phone has been in service before? (With Cingular)?? Hmmm. I think I should have mentioned that, now shouldn't I have? :o(

I think I remember seeing the odd #7 code for US phones. Whether they are imports is another question altogether.......

Hmmm - I dunno.

I'm not insulted at all - but still getting CODE ERROR.

Just read another thread looking for an answer - is it possible Cingular sold me this phone UNLOCKED? They're such money-grubbing skinflints, I would be surprised, but ...

I'll see if I can get it activated with AT&T as it is.
