Unlocking ATT Nokia 3650

I was wondering if anyone had to code to unlock my phone. Its ATT wireless bought in illinois in the USA. The IMEI is 351102502072258. I was wondering too, why in the "Some tips before you start" thread does it say to be careful with new ATT phone starting with the same digits( 351102/50/2) mine does? What do I need to look out for?
