Software for FreeBSD

Anyone know of any good programs for FreeBSD? If not for FreeBSD then at least recommend some good ones for Linux since FreeBSD runs most Linux programs quite nicely. I'd rather work on phones from my 'nix box instead of XP, but that all depends on when I get enough time to get my box up too I suppose.

You might get a better response asking on Linux only communities such as slashdot.org (it's in English though)

I think most people here use Windows stuff.
