Removing "AT&T Wireless" text from "desktop"

I was wondering if it was possible to removed the "AT&T Wireless" text from the phone's desktop (of you can use the word "desktop.") One if the reasons is that the text it going across my background image and i just want to get rid of that annoyance. Thanks in advcane for the help!

    transparent operator logo

    Hello

What you need is a "transparent operator logo". You may either download one, using WAP, or you can create your own and upload it by IR or data cable, using software such as MobiMB (not sure if that supports the 6200 tough).

Do a search in the forums here, i remember there was a thread to do with operator logo settings etc, where you could find a WAP link to such logo.

After you have successfully downloaded it (you see "Operator logo received") you will set it to "ON" in the menu, under

menu - settings - display settings - operator logo - "ON"

From then on, the "AT&T Wireless" will no longer be displayed

    Kind regards.....

ah, so it is the operator logo. I read about that, but the ATT displayed on the screen seems not to be a logo, but more just black text. That still qualifies as the operator logo?

    yes, sure :)

    Hi there

Yes, sure, it is a logo. Everything that is displayed to show the operator is a "Logo", regardless if it is a plain text word, a colourull graphic or - nothing, as in case with the transparent logo i suggested you to use

    Kind regards...
