    Could be the chgarger

Have you tried it on a different phone or have you tried a different charger on the same phone?

How about plugginf the chargers into different walls jacks in the house? Could be a fault in the wall jack.

My girls' charger when charging couldn't be touched, else it would stop charging... it had a broken wire, easily fixed.

    Hmm...

Have you tried cleaning the pins and board where it makes contact with the device where you connect the charger? (inside phone, don't know what it's called) or even the battery contact pins?

This is probably a charging block error (i.e. the bit where the charger plugs into in the fone).

This can be replaced but in order to do so you must take the phone apart completely.

Equally so it could be a problem with the software on the phone.

I can supply the spare part to you for £2.50.

Or I can supply and fit for £5, then you will have to pay return postage.

Equally so i can upgrade the fone to a 3315 for £4.50 plus postage at cost.

Or i can replace the part and do the software upgrade for £8 plus postage at cost.

I Have seen this fault many times. Normally due to Water Damage but not allways.

The Charging Circuit on the phone is faulty. Either CCONT or CHAPS I/C
