    hdw-2 earpiece

I found a nokia hdw-2 earpiece, but when I try to use it I need a code. Is there any way to find out what this code is?

No you would need to contact nokia and prove that you own the the ear piece then you have send it to them and they will set a new code on it.

Maybe some hacker can crack the code?

I bought my HDW-2, and it came with a card with a 4-digit passcode.

Well, when you pair two bluetooth devices ... you need to set a password so no one else can intefere with the connection right?

Same with HDW-2. Except, you can't change the passcode on the BT Headset. Its set as a 4-digit, on a card along with the HDW-2.

Lost it? Probably too bad, unless u see Nokia Care Centre

    Holy Shit.

Just checked mine and yes it was the same the last 4 numbers on the label are the same as the ones on my card.

    Well I stand corrected.

    Can anybody else confirm this?

    same here

i have a HDW-2&3 all these handsfree have a sticker inside with the same unlock code, know guy in nokia care, when i asked him whats was up,he told me that they can charge around rs 300/- each time a customer comes in asking for the code..thast around 8-9$ but am sure they would ak for more elsewhere..
he also said that nokia has instructed the care centers to tell tht the code as been reset to the orginal code via software upgrade and cannot be done more than 3 times(wonder wht they can do if the customer goes to a new center each time!!!)

    Big business
