HELP!!! Code entered with SIM card inside

Hi

I did not read the FAQ before entering the codes on my Nokia 3595 and did not remove the SIM card from my phone before entering the code.

I did get the message "Phone restriction off" on the phone.

I removed the SIM card and entered the code again it said
"Phone not restricted"

My guess is that my phone is now unlocked and should work with other SIM cards.

Am I correct??

normally, with the simcard in you'll get "not allowed", but you got "phone restriction off", so a ssume that the restriction is now off -> phone unlocked.

you can try another simcard, or use a test code - calculate codes for your imei, and 00101 as the network code. if the phone is unlocked you'll get "phone was not restricted", if not - you'll get "code error". don't use the test code more than once.

Can you also explain little more on what you mean "use a test code"

Should I get the code as usual with my IMEI from the code generator page but use network code 00101?
