Nokia 3650 : System error trouble

Hi. I have been using Nokia 3650 for some time now . i decided to buy an Irda adaptor and last nite i was installing few applications and games everything worked fine . i tried deleting some file in the Mail Folder .. thinking it mite be some junk .

Today now when iam trying to open Messages and try to open a message / sms i cant read it .. it gives me MEssaging : System error.. MAAgent.sis . is a file which links my Phone with my pc .. yesterday it worked fine ... today im unable to open this utility too. i uninstalled all utilities which i installed last nite.. and also have reseted to FACTORY SETTINGS and i even tried holding the pencil button to start my phone in pc mode.. but still i cant read my messaGES .. it gives me Messaging system error and when i try to access MAAGENT .. it gives me maagent : system error.. rest all the utilities and games work fine .. what cd be the trouble .. pls advise ??

erm, check that the mmc is not loose. when u format ur fone, did u rem to format ur mmc too?

well i hav that prob. too you must format your phone and mmc then it work

I cant afford to format my phone . memory card .. i have so much of data on it .. pictures videos / games / utilities ..... i just cant .. is there any way i can get rid of this problem ?i did check my memord card for being loose but still the same and the biggest problem is i cant even take backup ? does anyone have any clue how do i take the backup of my games and all that ..

You could clone your mmc on your pc using a card reader, but if you gonna format the fone, u must wipe the mmc too, cuz i didn't and now my 32mb mmc is useless cuz the fone won't boot with it in. Its easily fixed my wiping it with a card reader, but i havn't got one yet, so im back with the 16mb mmc. Still, as long as you are sure that none of the apps require files on the fone, you could format the fone without the mmc in and see what happens.
