err....... HELP!

i dont hav a clue wats goin on but my 6600 is playin up big time.
i dunno wat it is ive installed 2 cause dis prob. but, only of recent when i try 2 install a nu app. the fone comes up wiv an error msg "app closed childinstaller" or sumfin like dat.
i backed up the mmc re-formatted the mmc then tried 2 install everything from scratch but it seems im havin the same problem. the same msg comes up n causes installation 2 freeze.

can sum1 please help.

even if its 2 COMPLETELY re-format the mmc n phone memory id b ver greatful

Try without the MMC or with a different MMC.

did u try installing a java game.

could b that the app/game u tried to install is not compatible for ur fone.

it looks like its only games that refuse to install.
all the files are complete as they are the files i use when the games where 1st installed.
1 thing i noticed is that although ive formatted the mmc wen i try installin a game i previously installed it asks me weather or not i want 2 replace it.
shud this b happenin as the mmc shud b clean of n e old info or data after formattin.

well, i recommend u gif those games a miss, i bet those are javas.

they dun work v well wif 6600. unless u get javas meant for 6600.
