Hi
is it possible and if so how. thanks
just make a 1 pixel logo and send it to the phone
Hi,
So far a 100% transparent oplogo isn't possible mate. This is something I've been trying to suss out for sometime now and have had various discussions on various forums to.
Like me I guess you want to be able to use any theme and only one oplogo? Kinda like the standard service provider operator logo's that are transparent except for the writing.
The single pixel idea only works if the theme you are using has a white or solid colour top section. If it hasn't 9 times out of 10 you get left with a big white block with one coloured pixel in it![]()
The only thing for it now is to make a dedicated oplogo for each theme you want to use and change it each time.
Hopefully an application will come that will allow transparent gifs to be assigned to the oplogo.

amen to that
I thought that you could get "see through" or "transparent" operator logos...
Hi,
So far we can't. I know the tarif provider oplogo's are transparent, in my case it's O2 so the writing is visible.
I think really it's just a software limitation maybe, the application we use to assign the logo can't distinguish between whats solid and whats transparent.
I am surprised nothing been mentioned about writing an app to fix this.

coolice00 I remember when I was in London, 02 sent me a logo as well but I don't have it anymore but can't you just edit that 02 logo what you got and make it into a single pixel pic?
Hi,
I dont think you can do that as the icon is written to the Z: drive of the phone.
We could use a file explorer to send the file to our pc's, alter it as required, but when we send it back to the phone and use Opman etc. to assign the picture as the oplogo, again it will be as a solid block and not transparent.
This doesn't change if the file is saved as a .GIF, .JPG or .BMP, this is why I feel it's a software problem rather than anything else.
I keep searching for an answer to this as it would be easy.

the Z: is read only and the only time that might be possible is when it's at Nokia or O2 and they have the tools to do it, mine was sent to me a couple of months after I got my phone, it's just a black and white O2 logo stored in c:.
I reckon that a "100% Transparent Operator Logo" is not needed on a Symbian phone as it does not obstruct the picture.
I use to have a Nokia 7250 and I hate it how there is a line of text saying "YES OPTUS" across my babe wallpaper's face
Another good thing about Symbian phones! lol![]()
