3200 dropped not working right

My son has dropped his 3200, after switching it on the screen only gets as far as the blue colour then nothing else comes up on the screen. the phone will still work, we can ring out on it but cant see what we're doing.
I've tried my screen from my 7250i and it does the same, and when I put his screen in mine it only goes as far as the blue.

Any help much appreciated.

i would suggest u to change the complete display Screen. Cas looks like the screen is dead.
