7650 on/off switch...

The on/off switch on my 7650 is playing up and i can't turn the phone on. It can be half pressed in but it doesn't make contact with the switch inside. Any ideas?

Yeah, its a problem which happens with most 7650's when they start getting older. You could get it repaired at your local nokia center if you are within warrenty, otherwise i don't know what to do...

it is very easy
disasemble your fone and Replace the switch
all you need is a sodering iron and a new switch
remove old and replace with new and you are done

Oh by the way you have to have steddy hand no tremors

Sounds a bit tricky to replace. Are there any guides available? Unfortunately the phone is out of warranty so the nokia centre are probably going to charge me more than the phone is worth to replace the switch.

Don´t worry the cost of the replacement of
a Power switch aint much
a few centes


and in some cases they even do it for free
all you have to do is ask a price quote
