Newb :( Unlock A60

I have heard about using the Freia software and have build 9 and 10. But how do I actually unlock the phone using the Siemens A60 data cable?

I saw someone said use testpoint but do not have a clue what it is or how to do it!

Has anyone a flash file or any help for me? A really basic guide would be great, like using terms a newb like me would understand.

I have heard what you hacve to do is cut a copper track on the circuit board then use this app with the standard cable. Is there an alternative way other than cutting a track?

So is that the only way? it's just I didn't want to void the warrenty by opening it and then cutting stuff out
