I wonder if you can help me.

I have a Nokia 3200 on a contract with 02.

Had some problems with the keys which led to the incorrect input of the PIN code. O2 are sending a new phone and it will be here tomorrow.

However, after inputting the PUK code the phone asked me for a new PIN number then it came up "Enter Restriction Code". I phoned O2 and they claim that they cannot do anything about this and that this problem would only occur if I was using a non O2 SIM card. Well, the SIM card is O2 and always has been. They want £10 off me for a new SIM card.

Firstly, is it the SIM that is blocked, or the phone. Will this SIM work in the replacement phone they are sending out?

If it is the SIM, is their a restriction code I can use?
