Nokia 6100 broken screen, doesn't turn on

Question:
My 6100 screen is cracked, now the lights & phone don't turn on anymore (it fell quite hard).
Is that normal or can I consider my phone to be dead?

If not, would buying a new screen be any good?

i'd say your phone is dead. ready to be buried. what are you going to do with a phone that does not turn on? i say, get a new one!!!

Don't worry that much

I do cell repairs. I got a 6100 by me. It was going off. I noticed that if the lcd was not plug in the phone would refuse to turn on. If you put a lcd the phone goes on.

So your problem is the lcd.

Ah thanks for replying ppl.. think I will buy a new lcd off ebay then
