PUK code

Hi all,my m8 has bought a 3310 off ebay,and ehs has tried to enter a code 3 times now it is asking for PUK code,seems the number he was give was wrong,is there any way to get the phone working,with out the puk code,as the person he bought it off on ebay is not answering his emails?

PUK code is for the sim card not the phone.....

Puk code is 4 digits and you need to get that from the network...

do you mean the security code which is 5 digits ??

thanks for the quick reply,He told me that when he turns the phone on it comes up enter PUK code,and when he press,s any keys nothing happens.
he wants to un lock the phone(sorry dont know which network hes on)looks like i need more info from him.

to unlock the phone remotely he needs to know the network it was working on originally...if he does not know that then he needs to either try other network sim cards until he finds which one it accepts with no problem (so he knows the network it is locked to), or unlock it by cable in which case we you do not need to know as you can just unlock it by pressing the button on the Rolis software !!
