Hello
Please fgorgive me if this was posted somewehere, i need help urgent and can't dig thru all the threads here - i am completely new to the Symbian and s60 area.
I just today got a brand new Nokia 6260 for my boyfriend. Now his 7250 got to go, BUT there are a hell of a lot of phonebook entries (with addresses, e-mails etc) in that 7250.
How to get those into the 6260 WITHOUT using PC Suite?
Because, the PC Suite version that came with the 6260 does install on my PC, but won't run. It comes up with some "runtime error, Microsoft virtual C++" or whatever like that, as soon as i select any of the options in the (already running!) main application. I tried to install it twice and it didn't change.
I got fully registered versions of both MobiMB and Oxygen buth neither does support the 6260, or any other s60 phone. I have a full backup of the 7250's contents (phonebook etc), if those files can be used somehow?
Please, i got only two days before the 7250 will be sold, and i can't spend the whole two days typing all those contacts (200 +) manually into the new phone! There must be a way?
BTW i can connect both phones to the PC either via serial-popport cable or IrDA. The IrDA so far works flawlessly in terms of transferring pictures and ringtones from the 7250 to the 6260.
Any help would be very much appreciated
Kindest regards.....
