E700 help to Unlock for all SimCards

Hi, I need your help if possible ! I am trying to unlock a E700. I want to unclock it for all Sim Cards!!! I have the unlock code...Model: Samsung SGH-E700 *2767*688# In newer phones:#*7337#
But I am doing something wrong... Wen I try to type the unclock code it apears*2767*--- . Do I simply digit the unlock code directly to the cel, or must I use cable to do it? Do I need any special prog. or soft.? Do I need to calculate the EMEI number to get an unlock no. ?
Have you any tip or information of what can I do to unlock the cell for all simcards.? I apreciate your help very much!!!Thank you very much!
