ust6.0 instruction help!!

Hi,

I got ust6.0 samsung software. I installed the software.

I was able to run ustprov6.exe. Then I selected Type: Agere, Model: D418 Job: Unlock & click Make Job! On the status bar in the ust, it shows activating test mode...then it wait for phone response saying "no reponse from phone"

Do I need cable to unlock the phone?
