problem unlocking my nokia 2100

I´ve downloaded the nokia free unlock codes calculator 3.10, entered my imei number (351344557904965), my country (Brazil), my cell phone operator (Tim) and the program gave me this:

#pw+187 300 371 7+1#

So, I used number 1 in the blank spaces (as said in the help button). I took off the sim card, and start to enter the code, BUT i couldn´t enter the last character, the "#"; I pressed the button but the phone wouldn´t write it in screen and the phone was not locked up.

Is there someone who can help me? thanks in advance.

Type the whole code with no spaces.
