I remember there was a code dialled wherein SMS/text can be prevented nor send. what are those codes again?

What Country are u in????? What Network provider.....?
If you are in philippines and your network is Globe, heres the code, hope that moderator allow this.

*33*(your pin)# then call- to lock or barring
#33*(your pin)# then call- to unlock

You can also use it on call setting, the call barring.
For Phil. globe user only.
