FSCallerr strange problem... stops working after a day?

As of recent, i found a strange problem on mine 6600. I have several versions of FSCaller, 2.06, 3.00, 3.02 and 3.04. All the time i had 2.06 installed and it worked fine. Recently i tested 3.04, which i found that after about one day it stopped working, i.e. no pictures were shown when a call came. I then tested 3.02, that gave me an annoying "App closed: Main" error even when charger connected, and ALSO stopped to show pics after one day or so. So upon reading on the internet that 3.00 would be the best compatible with the Nokia 6600, i got THAT one and installed it - same problem!! I then went back to the good old 2.06 and guess what - after one day, no pictures are shown upon incoming calls!

What could possibly cause this?

I did already uninstall it and removed all files to do with FSCaller via a file manager, then re-installed it. Same problem still (and same preferences too! There must be a hidden file somewhere). At the moment i am using 3.00 again since it shows pictures on outgoing calls too, so i can test it easier.

It doesn't seem to matter what i do during the time i use the phone, i tested everything - making calls, receiving calls, bluetooth, GPRS, using various apps.... it keeps working all day, but next morning - nothing anymore. It's still "on" tough and also running, as shown by AppMan. Just no pictures will show up.

Any advise would be appreciated.......

I found out myself where the error comes from, yet - still need a way around it.

According to various sources, the 6600 performs better when the log is set to "1 day". So i did that. However, as soon as the log is cleared, FSCaller stops showing pictures! I tetsed it by rebooting the phone, making a call (picture shows), then manually clearing the log - making call to thje same number again - no picture! Had to reboot again to get it working again.

Now when the log is set to "1 day" it clears automatically after 24 hours, hence - FSCaller stops working.

How can i get around that without either having to reboot the phone every morning or keep the log on 10 or 30 days (and the connected slow performance)?

Please, any advise highly appreciated

I have the same problem with Psiloc Vision. It stops working after a day and i didn't know why. My log is set to 1 day also so must be that. Changed log to 10 days reluctantly but it saves me keep rebooting my 6600.

I have found a rather simple solution that keeps at least FSCaller working without the need to reboot every day...... well, in my case it is a fact that i do not actually use that phone (6600) for calls, but only to "play with". If i would use it for my calls, for sure this problem would not even come up at all.

However i now just simply attempt a call to any number twice a day, morning and evening.... therefor keep *something* in the log at any time (it clears each individual entry 24 hours after it has been entered, not the actual log every 24 hours) so keeping a single entry in there at any time keeps FSCaller happy.

As of recent i started receiving calls on that phone too, because right now in Thailand is cellphone network chaos with all networks being flooded by cheap promotions and the networks are totally overloaded.... particular in the evening cross-network calls are next to impossible, at least in Bangkok. So that phone actually got some use as a phone now, but only receiving. Nice to have FSCaller working
