GSM Scanner

Need to Know can i hear other GSM phones in my locality....using any mobile phone which can send the authenticated keys with a proper codec....or sim cloning is only the method ...also can i use a cloned sim card on a passive mode which can able to recieve only .....

i have nearly completed about 50 % of the scanner module ...but want to know know if any mobile phone would take part in or no...hey guys may be u can help me out on this work ....thanks

sorry for misunderstanding, but i'm intersting too, i actually try in other way (based on stuff from janus Motorola website)

the software part of the module is ready and set to go ... but i am deciding on the hardware part of it ..... if i could u an standard gsm mobile or an radio scanner to lock my self on the hopping frequency

have u resolve the 'challenge' between ME and network, like generating Timsi or Kc keys in fonctionnal way (not in simulation context) ?
