How many chances do I get?

Hi, I know you have only 5 chances of entering the right code for unlocking your phone, but does this include entering the right ones. I entered 4 wrong codes given to me, then entered the right one and the phone displayed something like ‘restriction removed’. I can receive calls but can’t send them and I was told to try another code #pw+********+5 as I had tried +7 before, but will this extra code (6 in all ) lock the phone or does the right codes not count. I'm not 100% sure but if Nokia engineers programmed things like for the DCT3 generation phones then each lock has 5 tries

...but be aware that some people reported phones arriving at their hands with all the tries used or even some models accepting only three tries

Thanks for the info, but that's my problem do I get 5 tries on lock 7 and another on lock 5 and so on. The phones no good as it is so I will try, as I will have to get it unlocked by cable anyway.
