Basically, any .mp3 file can be used as a ringtone... as long as it is small enough. Just upload the file to the phone via Nokia PCSuite or whatever software you may want to use (of course, use the interface that you normally use, e.g. IR, cable, etc.) select it as your ringtone.
For example, you can loop a part of a song, convert the loop to .mp3 format and upload it to your phone, and voilá, you have a new ringtone.
I hope this helps!

Thanks!! For the info. Ok making sure its small enough.....what quality bitrates are good enough for a ringtone, but keep it the smallest. I think the phone comes with like 4MB. Also other types of ringtones also: True Tones, MIDI/polyphonic tones, mp3. I would to costume make a ringtone, but have it close to the size of the original ones. Also how long do you suggest for the mp3 to be?

Considering that the mp3 format at 192 kbps takes approximately 1MB per minute of sound, I would go with that, so a 30 second ringtone of very good quality would take 512 KB.
Best regards
