Nokia 1100 screen

i have been given a nokia 1100 which gas a fault with the screen whenever i turn the phone on the screen turns on but the is no picture but i can hear the sound when i press the buttons and still make calls and after turning it on and off several times ocasionally it comes on but whenever the backlight goes off the image dissapears again any thoughts on what this could be would be very helpful

well i can tell you that my first move would be to try a different LCD in the phone to see if thats the problem, but i am guessing you dont have access to different LCDs... is your phone still under warranty? PM me your IMEI and i will check it if you want... otherwise my advice is to take it to a shop for a repair, since if its not the LCD then its almost definatly a major fault with the phone (LCD track damage or damaged CPU (UPP)!!)

Maybe there is a glitch between the LCD and the circuitboard? I had the same problem on my old 3210. Just tightened the screws and the problem was gone.
