Help: 6310i Flashing With Cable

I want to flash my 6310i with newer firmware as it keeps restarting, from searching around i have learnt that you dont need a box and its possible to flash this phone with just a cable.

What cable(s) would i need and what software would i need?

I have found a tutorial for flashing DCT3 phone but not for DCT4 (i.e 6310i).

No, its not possible to flash the phone with datacable!!!

You need DCT-4 Flasher (Cheap-Flasher, allthough its a kind of "cable") or Box (Twister, JAF, etc.) but not possible with standard data cable (USB, serial)
