probs wiv phones4u in uk

hi took my daughters phone back to phones4u in the uk for repair under warranty. they told me the problem was caused by water damage and therefore not warranty. the problem is not important as the phone was insured for water damage so new phone. anyway the point is
1- the phone has been nowhere near water
2- the phone was insured for water damage so why put it in for warranty repair if it got wet in the first place.


so is this phones4u trying to get out of warranty work?
i have heard of other people getting the same treatment, if this is so then phones4u are totaly out of order. has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi...
they say water damage, but they really mean LIQUID INGRESS.
and you cant stop that from happening.
Its usually caused by just the sweat of your hands , moisture from your breath, and steam from bathrooms or going into a warm room when the fone is cold. just like coming inside in the winter when your wearing glasses.

The service centres are F_CKERS for saying water damage.
