Hello
A colleague of mine has a Nokia 6220 and he very much likes one of my ringtones (i use 3230). I figured out that the 6220 can play .amr files as ringtones, so i converted that song into an .amr and tried to transfer it to his phone via IrDA. The transfer would start but at some stage would stop, displaying "Not enough memory to receive file". But there is 2.2 MB free on that 6220, and the file in question was 288 KB only.
When i convert the ringtone (mine is a mp3) to a lower quality .amr, it sounds horrible - at least on MY phone. The smallest file size i get (which is so horrible that i wouldn't upload it on my worst enemy's phone) is 129 KB.
Now i would like to know - how large files can this phone (that 6220) receive?
Thanks in advance for any advise.... oh and btw, i did already google this subject but found no information at all
Kind regards.....
your Thanh
