I'm new here. I just want to say that this site gave me the best way to unlock my phone. However, I'd just like to add a testament to reading FAQs. In there, I found my Nokia 3510i was DCT4, that the GEN was V2, and then I found which code to enter.

However, anyone wanting to unlock their phone should be careful. Mine is a UK Virgin phone. However, I realised after typing the code in twice wrong that my box says T-Mobile, but the shop said Virgin uses the T-Mobile network, so everything should be fine.

I tapped in the T-Mobile code and it worked first time.

So, aside from checking the IMEI number, which DCT version you have and the model, may I also suggest you check the provider your phone was actually brought from is checked too. Otherwise you might find you're typing in the wrong codes.
