Smile using search facility for Nokia 1600 unlock codes

    Hi ,
I am also trying to unlock a Nokia 1600 but when I use the search facility I get 9 replies most of which say " use search facility to find the answer".
It appears from the threads and replies that it is a DCT4 phone but 1600 is not listed in the dropdown list of the DCT4 code generator.
Please point me in the correct direction and I will happily research/re-search?

    Regards

    LC

    Ok
I used the DCT4 calculator and entered details as per reply from PACKULT
(i.e. ASIC 2 and Original GEN) and it worked.
It is confusing though as 1600 is not listed as a phone type either in FAQ's or in the calculator and, as it transpires, does not need to be entered.

    thanks.

Not Every Individual Phone has different Algo Methods.
Most of the NOKIA DCT4 Range uses the ASIC 2, ORIGINAL Box Method.

The fact is, Unlocking Nokia phones isn't as hard as you think!
