Nokia 1600 Unlock - Vodafone Uk < Instructions Here

Hi Everyone,

I read many many threads on here and got sick of people saying "use the search facility"....I used the search, turned up a few not very enlightening posts about the Nokia 1600 and decided to bite the bullett.

I paid today to have my Nokia 1600 unlocked (laugh all you like ) and it worked first time, then I have sat here with the NOKIAFREE UNLOCK CODE CALC V 3.10 and cycled through all of the configs until the code I used finally appeared...I now have a working config using the CODE CALC for Nokia 1600's on VODAFONE UK.

MAKE: NOKIA
MODEL: DCT4 (expert only)
IMEI: 00000000 (your IMEI)
COUNTRY: UK
NETWORK: VODAFONE
IN OPTIONS, ENABLE "EXPERT MODE" via the checkbox.
SELECT "ASIC 2"
SELECT "ORIGINAL" below this.

CALCULATE your unlocking codes and use CODE 7.

I really hope this helps someone or a few people out, as I got really frustrated trying to find "The Answer" which people insisted was on here (and it wasn't even me asking, I was just reading)....

I bought two of these phones. With the first one I followed this really carefully and it just came up 'not allowed' and no matter what I did this was the only thing that happened. With the second phone, it unlocked straight away Any ideas why please?

nice sharing bro! but its a case to case basis really. the easiest way to unlock that unit is by using jaf box. just one click and done.

I just tried this on a new Nokia 1600 i got from Tesco for &#163;19.99, it was locked to T-Mobile (UK).
It works like a dream, I used code calculator by cybergsm v5.4.
I am now using this nice little Nokia with my vodafone sim.
