problems with the dejan's programmer

When I try to program a blank greencard2 (with icprog,cardwriter etc.), I get an error: "programming failed at address 0000h". I get the same error after verification (unless I do the verification right after reading (and get nothing but zeros)). The hex file I used is the correct one. (when i select pic16F877A instead of pic16F877, I get the error after the first programming step, otherwise I cannot even get started: verification during programming is "on"). How can I overcome this problem? Can I flash the pic and write the eeprom with the Dejan's programmer anyway? (I could read all the essential data, though) Help needed desperately!

Hi,

Sorry you CAN´T write the PIC with Dejan's Reader. You need a JDM programmer. The eprom yes, but the PIC must be programmer before.
