3410 displaying "Contact Service"?

Hi, i have a 3410 and it was fine a couple of days ago but now when i turn it on it switches itself off and then back on again displaying "contact service" on the screen and this is all it will do, anyone know of this and is there any way i can sort it or do i just throw the fone away!! thanks

Please search before posting... there have been HEAPS of posts reguarding "CONTACT SERVICE"... It needs to be flashed with new software.

Hi,

Connect the phone to an Mbus cable. Use eeprom tools to test it and find out reason of contact service. Click on "manual".

According to the results u know if its a hardware or software problem.
